Todd strives to establish trusted relationships with clients by always acting in their best interests. As President of BT Partners, he is focused on going above and beyond expectations to help clients achieve their goals.

Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Todd worked in public accounting and as Controller and Operations Manager for several companies in diverse industries. That experience made him realize there had to be a better way to do ERP implementations and technology consulting—and BT Partners’ foundations were formed.

Todd has served as committee chair in the Illinois CPA Society and is a member of AICPA and APICS. He is also active in the Information Technology Alliance and a past Board member. A lifelong Chicagoland resident, Todd earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is deeply rooted and committed to his community, but family means more to him than anything, and that culture resonates throughout BT Partners.

Before joining BT Partners, Bert worked for a manufacturing company as controller and accounting manager. As the technology evolved, he was in a unique position to see how it could enhance a business both operationally and fiduciarily. That insight led him to consulting, where he focused on helping clients implement systems that support their businesses.

During his 20-plus years with BT Partners, Bert has served as Director of Strategic Accounts, SYSPRO Implementation Specialist, and Applications Development Manager. He is well known for his uncanny ability to identify a business problem and solve it. He works with organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and holds certifications across a range of software products.

Bert received a B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Austin manages the Managed Services practice at BT Partners. He began his decade-plus career in IT on the helpdesk before moving through server engineering and into management, supporting networks in the private sector, law enforcement, and the public and nonprofit sectors. He believes in leveraging policy as a foundation and technology as a tool to provide reliable and scalable IT service delivery.

Austin attended Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, majoring in Biology. Outside of work, he can be found playing guitar, obsessing over the water quality in his koi pond, or designing and building custom furniture by hand.

Ayala works closely with clients to determine their unique needs while managing projects that help teams succeed. With more than a decade of experience at BT Partners, she also helps manage the ERP practices to make sure business processes are continually improving.

Ayala received her Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Chicago, which ignited her interest in business management solutions. Years later, she still enjoys working with information systems to help small- and medium-sized businesses leverage technology. She works with a variety of businesses in diverse industries and has played a major role in hundreds of technology projects.

Ayala also holds CPA and PMP credentials and is an active member of the Information Technology Alliance and the Illinois CPA Society. She happily resides in Morton Grove with her family.

David is a trusted advisor, problem solver, and relentless advocate for his clients' success. Known for his direct communication style and hands-on approach, he tackles challenges head-on and is always willing to have the tough conversations that lead to better outcomes.

Prior to joining BT Partners, David led the Sage Intacct practice at a leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly known as Dynamics NAV) and Sage Intacct partner, helping the organization achieve Sage Intacct President's Club status for two consecutive years. His deep expertise in financial management solutions, coupled with a passion for helping organizations improve performance, made BT Partners the ideal home for his next chapter.

David believes that ERP success depends on more than just selecting the right software. It requires the right partner. Through BT Partners' partner-plus-product approach, he helps clients minimize implementation risk, drive operational improvements, and realize lasting value from their technology investments.

Elizabeth has two-plus decades of customer support experience as a liaison between a variety of clients and key executives. She is responsible for ongoing support to existing clients on the company’s products and services, forming and growing advisory relationships. She also contributes to the company’s mission of helping clients increase revenue, reduce costs, and reinvest in innovation with proven technologies.

Elizabeth received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Beloit College and holds a Certification in Secondary Education.

Jacob leads and is responsible for overseeing all portions of Miller Cooper’s Data & Analytics Advisory Services practice, overseeing service delivery, vendor relationships, and mentoring the consulting team. He and his team work with clients across an array of industries to develop forward-thinking data strategies that improve performance and decision-making, from live data streams and warehousing to dashboards and secure frameworks.

Jacob began his career with a tech start-up and assisted in growing the enterprise into an established business, including implementing the company’s signature application at more than 200 facilities. He also served as Vice President of Executive Analytics for Miller Cooper’s technology group.

Jacob received his Bachelor of Science from Messiah University and his MBA from the University of Illinois, Gies College of Business. During his time at Messiah, he traveled to more than 14 countries throughout Europe with the International Business Institute.

Jason leads Operations for the Managed Services practice at BT Partners. With more than 20 years in IT, his career began on the helpdesk supporting court reporting systems before he moved into the .com sector, where his growing expertise and leadership naturally carried him into management roles.

Efficiency drives how Jason approaches his work—whether he is building streamlined processes for clients, developing new metrics to track helpdesk performance, or identifying faster paths to resolving a problem. Internally, he is focused on strengthening the team and improving how they support clients.

Outside the office, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and unwinding with games on his Xbox.

Joe manages BT Partners’ technology needs and ensures maximum availability of all company IT systems. Before this role, he served as Senior Network Engineer on the Managed Services team, where he designed, implemented, and managed solutions for BT Partners’ clients.

Joe began his professional life as a high school technology teacher and then moved into technical training for a software vendor. In addition to a keen ability to analyze problems, develop procedures, and find innovative, cost-saving solutions, he brings a few non-traditional talents from his time in the Gamma Phi Circus in college—including juggling and fire-eating.

Joe received his B.S. in Physics and Industrial Technology Education from Illinois State University.

John excels at improving business processes and how companies use software through implementation guidance and expertise. Previously, he was involved in business process consulting, which led him to work with the BT Partners team through a shared client. He enjoyed their professionalism and people so much that he decided to become part of the team.

John received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and holds APICS credentials in CPIM and CIRM. He loves the variety in his job because it keeps him thinking about the best way to solve a particular client’s need.

Outside the office, John is an avid runner, world traveler, and a trusted handyman.

Lucy joined BT Partners in 2011 with an impressive breadth of knowledge that helps her provide outstanding service and support. She has a knack for understanding client needs while focusing on improving business processes, discovering growth opportunities, and providing software support.

In her previous role, she was involved in every aspect of the business, including manufacturing, distribution, finance, and operations. Fittingly, Lucy led the SYSPRO implementation alongside their reseller, BT Partners, which led to her joining the team. With a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, she enjoys working with clients to improve processes and problem-solve while continuously learning the latest technology.

Nancy joined the BT Partners team with a 30-plus-year background in accounting—20 of those years as a professional consultant, and the past 13 years working exclusively with Sage Intacct. Combine that with a master’s degree in Information Management, and Nancy has the experience, business acumen, and credentials it takes to build collaborative partnerships and deliver successful outcomes.

Degrees and certifications showcase her achievements, but the real secret behind her proven effectiveness as a business software consultant is the passion she brings to the work and her commitment to client success, along with a genuine love of Sage Intacct.
