Chocolate Potpourri Leverages SYSPRO’s Lean Manufacturing Capabilities; Provides
ERP Testimonial at 2008 Demand Planning & Forecasting Conference
LAS VEGAS – May 9, 2008 – SYSPRO, a provider of visionary ERP for the
manufacturing pragmatist, announced today that customer Chocolate Potpourri has
publicly testified to inventory control gains achieved through its SYSPRO
deployment at a recent industry event held April 30 through May 2 in Las Vegas.
Chocolate Potpourri’s speech, “The Benefits of Integrated Forecasting,” was
delivered at the 2008 Demand Planning & Forecasting, Best Practices Conference
hosted by the Institute of Business Forecasting (IBF). The keynote was given by
Richard Gordon, president of Glenview, IL-based Chocolate Potpourri.
SYSPRO was invited by IBF to provide the customer testimonial to 120
manufacturing and distribution industry executives from across all industries.
The goal of this IBF Best Practices conference is to help companies of all
sizes to acquire the skill-sets and knowledge needed for accurate forecasts.
Other companies presenting included: Pepsi, Sam’s Club, Herbalife, Saudi
Telecom, E&J Gallo Winery and Texas A&M University.
Chocolate Potpourri’s Richard Gordon said that by using SYSPRO, the company has
